Zenscape Story

The idea came to life when I bought a one-way ticket to Turkey, packed my backpack, and boarded the plane. I set out to Interrail across Europe, eager to explore its stunning sights. On route, constantly on the move - packing, unpacking, and wasting time searching for lost items. I thought there must be an easier way! To make life on the move simple, as if living at home. Saving time to explore more once in a lifetime destinations...

Hello and welcome to the brand! I'm Jack, the Founder of Zenscape. Originally from London, I'm a Product Designer by profession and a seasoned backpacker. My journey includes recognition as a national award-winning designer, with a portfolio enriched by my work at Berghaus and Sunseeker.

Inspired by travelling the world and looking to forge my own path. I set out to launch Zenscape and push the boundaries of travel gear. I believe if more people travelled and experienced the world first hand, we would live in a better place. This is my gift for all the amazing memories and connections made on the road. I hope to inspire others to take the leap and travel with the confidence to expand their horizons.


Our products have been developed from direct experiences faced on the road. Designed by backpackers, for backpackers. The journey brining the Zenscape Travel Backpack to life has spanned eight years. First taking shape during a European Interrail adventure. The idea went on to win a national award at New Designers and has been thoroughly tested, on multiple travel adventures all around the world. After 14 generations of prototypes and samples, the pack is adventure ready!

The idea has developed into the brand Zenscape, with the mission to expand horizons through making life on the move simple. The team has expanded to include a network of specialised contacts, covering aspects from marketing to logistics. We have been on multiple visits to the production facilties in Vietnam finalising the design ready to scale up. The main pack material is crafted from recycled polyester (RPET) and sourced from Bluesign® certified suppliers. We proudly share production facilities with other industry leading premium brands.

After a highly successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, where we surpassed £35,000 in orders with support from 225 backers, our project was distinguished with the coveted 'Project We Love' designation, further elevating its exposure. Additionally, exhibiting at the 2024 Outdoor Expo in Birmingham allowed us to engage with the community and attracted significant interest.

With manufacturing now underway to fulfil these initial crowdfunding orders, we're thrilled to announce that preorders for the next batch are now available for a limited time! Be among the first in the world to experience the next generation of backpacking gear...
